The Learning Club is a program managed by The Polly Farmer Foundation and supported by BHP. It is aimed at providing Indigenous students in Years 1 – 6 with opportunities to be involved in a range of numeracy, literacy and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities in a secure and supportive environment.

 

The program aims to help students develop positive life-long study habits. improve literacy and numeracy skills, enhance school attendance, and celebrate culture and heritage.

 

The program has proven to improve attendance and academic achievement along with enhancing the self-management, social skills and resilience of participating students.

In 2023, Learning Club operates Tuesday's and Thursday's from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.
